So here is the semi-official (provided the Army doesn't keep Josh in longer than supposed to) wedding date. May 22nd, 2010 here in Florence, Al. This is right between semesters for me and will give us enough time after Josh home to get everything settled. My theme is going to be a picnic with lots of wooden baskets as decorations and picnic-y things. Kinda duh since we're going to have it at the park here, but over the years we've gone from Star Wars theme to Ren to some crazy X-men/Star Wars idea Josh had. The colors are the only thing thats stayed a constant over the years, emerald green and white to match the dress. Lol yes, when we had the original date set and everything we'd already gotten the dress since it was THE dress I always wanted. Now 3yrs later maybe I can finally wear it for its purpose. I'm excited about the planning, last time I looked at doing all this the invitations I wanted were a new fad, the paper ones with the flower seeds inside that you just plant in the ground. And after planning Jessi's and then a few other parties/weddings I have a better idea of what to do and what is just a wasted moment of oh thats pretty. So there you have it lj, now lets hope everything lines up for it accordingly and something crazy like Greater Mysteries doesn't get planned for that weekend and Tzaddia is otherwise occupied.

I have to figure out something because I've missed 2 classes now in my senior seminar and if I miss a 3rd its automatic loss of a letter grade. I can go to the doctor and get an excuse but geez that'll get expensive and obvious too...I have no idea how I sleep through two alarms and my loud cell phone...ugh anyone have any thing?

I came home to a frozen block of ice that surrounded  my ac....chipped it away... left came home went to the bathroom flushed toilet...went to fight with ac again...returned to toilet flooding floor and I just used all the towels I own on the ac melting.... call Josh and in his voicemail he gets the sound of not only the ac clanging w/ ice, the rushing of water still flooding floor, but the then the boom of his prized Warlock guitar hitting the ground...and my little voice going please hurry home and fix the house.



I now have turned sheets and a blanket into towels for floor... it is hot because I dont know what to do with ac... and ummm fuck I give up on prized warlock... I'll pay if its scratched but eh

My friends and family., point blank. I am fiercely loyal to anyone I call friend and most of my friends become closer than blood kin. The people in my life would be hard to set in a pecking order list because they are so many that lay claim to large portions of my heart. There's my best friends that I trust with my life and secrets. My brothers and sister who I'd do anything for. Even though I'm furious at her, I'd still do anything for Meagan. Same with my momma and of course I love my grandparents who raised me and made me who I am today.... yep mucho mucho peeps...even a few pets like my lovely Lucien and assorted fishies hehe!

What is your answer when people ask if you are Wiccan?

I always answer my religion as Pagan, but I do not see myself as "wiccan". Wiccan to me invokes images of the little wanna be goth who is buying spellbooks to piss off her parents and because it's cool. Similar to emo, thug, wannabe lesbian (my school had those who honestly I don't think know their own body enough to know another girl's), and various other teenage bouts of stupidity that promote teenage rebellion.

But even on an actual adult level I do not see myself as Wiccan. That is a name I've never been, nor am attracted to calling myself. Dianic, witch, eclectic goddess worshiper, but every time someone says oh so you're wiccan I promptly say no and explain the previous statements. So what do ya'll see yourselves as?

I don't know a single person that is pagan that worships one god or goddess, and many worship gods from different regions. I'm called to mainly Greeks, but I use the Roman name for Artemis and Isis and Bast are in there as well. Hermes, Athena, Diana, Demeter, Persphone, Isis, Bast, Hera these are the ones I'm attracted too with Diana being first. So please humor my request and if you have a title you use please use it. Thanks!

Ok so I have decided to start chronicling things and the moments that where I or friends go "omg I'm such a geek for knowing this". So here are some of my more famous omg moments and some that are truly random

1. 6-8-08---Bathroom at a gas station b/w Greenfield and Milan.... I looked up at the paper towel dispenser and went holy crap it looks like Darth Vader! Well technically his helmet, but it was so close I swear I almost went out to the car just for the camera to photograph it.

For those that don't know Josh, he is a HUGE Star Wars freak! He even has the sign of the Empire tattooed on his chest. For those that don't know what that looks like be thankful and do not go google it lol. I didn't care one way or the other about Star Wars until I started dating Josh. Then I was sadly forced to watch the ENTIRE Saga over and over and over. He also plays the RPG game and KOTOR I &II so I learned more from osmosis. Like do you know why Yoda was so old and ugly? I do. What is the name of the rabbit like race that has stats the same as Yoda's race? Again *buzz*

highlight the following if you really care to know the answers. Yoda is old and ugly because with a wisdom point set as high as his it starts to deteriorate the body and also he is really old. And secondly they are Kushibans and very cute and fluffy. Google that and see!

So that said now when I see something Star Wars like I go OOOh Josh will love that.

Than a weekend listening to the mahhh..vellll..ouss00j play the raccoon song and Bogtane twice and both times be the cool kid who knows the words! Only thing missing was Labyrinth but that is another time and day which is always good. I'm most sad this weekend of mishaps is over and the life of summer school must begin again.  *hiss hiss cuss cuss mutter curses in the dust*

I saw lovely friends and made some new. Didn't see any crazy hats and mice at the Mad Tea Party, but Trudy's cake was hilarious. For those unlucky duckies that didn't go it was a giant pink penis! I'll post a pic of it when I get home.

My dance card for June is filling up quickly. Josh will be home sometime next week. Next Tues I'm doing an energy spell with some great friends and then on Friday is a special secret but I'm very excited about. Then the following week I hopefully can come back to Memphis to observe in the lab at U of M. And then the rest of the month is finals, another special meeting, and who knows what... Hopefully it will also contain me figuring out this *%^& poi trick. I'm afraid if I try tonight I'll have a black eye and won't be presentable tomorrow at the Buddhist temple. That'll be very interesting. I'm going to go talk to them about the mandala and I never really observed anything Orientally based until DOM. Who'd a thunk I'd be going to a Sunday 11am service to see a monk?? Usually that time is for getting up to pee and cursing the sun or Christian churches.... omg I just realized the irony there and have decided to leave it as is and PRAY ya'll get the joke.
